This Privacy Notice describes how AMSTAT, Inc. (“AMSTAT”, “we”, “our” or “us”) handles personal information we obtain in connection with our website available at www.amstatcorp.com (the “Site”) and Services (as defined below) which link to this Privacy Notice. The Site provides information about AMSTAT and the Services AMSTAT offers to its clients. The Site is made available for informational and research purposes and is intended for users acting in a professional capacity.
AMSTAT primarily researches and obtains technical data about corporate, business and other aircraft (e.g., the manufacturer, model, age and condition of such aircraft) and provides this information primarily to industry professionals as a subscription service (the “Services”). The Services include our client solutions such as Premier, Connect and Statpak, which can be accessed from the Site or by other direct login pages. The Services also include our call center and support services. In connection with the Services, we obtain personal information about clients who subscribe to the Services and their authorized users (“Subscribers”), as well as individuals connected with the corporate and other aircraft we research (“Aircraft-Associated Individuals”). We describe in this Privacy Notice how we use personal information we obtain, with whom we may share it and how we protect it.
Individuals in the European Union and Switzerland may have certain legal rights associated with our processing of their personal information. Please see the section “Your Rights Over Your Personal Information” below for more.
B. Personal Information We Obtain
We obtain different types of personal information about individuals who may use the Site and the Services, as described below. You may not be able to use certain features if you do not provide the requested information. We also obtain information about Aircraft-Associated Individuals to populate the Services, as described below.
1. Personal Information We Obtain Through the Site
a. Personal information we collect directly from visitors to the Site
When you visit the Site and complete a form (for example, to request a demo) we ask you to provide certain information. This includes:
• Contact information (e.g., name, phone number, email address, postal address or mobile number);
• Professional information (e.g., job title, employer or company information, professional affiliations).
b. Data automatically collected on the Site
We and our service providers may automatically log certain data when you access the Site from your web browser or mobile device, such as information about the number and frequency of visitors, technical information about browsers and devices used to access the Site, and information about crashes or other technical issues. In addition, we and third parties may automatically collect certain information through automated means about your activities over time across the browsers and devices you use to access the Site as well as across third-party sites, apps or other media. These technologies may assign or collect a unique identifier on your browser or device, and may reside, among other places, on your computer or device, within webpages or mobile apps. We may use these technologies to administer, understand usage of and improve the content and offerings of the Site. 2. Personal Information We Obtain In Connection With the Services
a. Personal Information we collect directly from Subscribers
If you are a Subscriber, we ask for certain personal information about you when you use the Services, including when you contact us for call center or support services. Such information may include:
• Contact information (e.g., name, phone number, email address, postal address or mobile number);
• Account information (e.g., username and password for accessing the Services)
• Professional information (e.g., job title, employer or company information, professional affiliations).
• Other information you choose to provide through the Services or when you contact our call center or request support services.
b. Data automatically collected through the Services
We and our service providers may automatically log certain data about your browser or device when you access the Services, such as the number and frequency of visitors, technical information about browsers and devices used to access the Services and information about crashes or other technical issues. We may also use cookies and similar technologies to provide functionality, remember your preferences and analyze and improve usage of the Services.
c. Personal Information we obtain about Subscribers from other sources
We may combine personal information we obtain through the Services with other information we may have about you, including information obtained offline. We may obtain information about you from your organization, for example, through the contract negotiation process. We may obtain your personal information if you attend an industry conference or event. We may also obtain personal information from third-party data providers or other sources (e.g., LinkedIn).
3. Personal Information We Obtain About Aircraft-Associated Individuals
As part of the Services, we research and maintain limited personal information about Aircraft-Associated Individuals. This may include contact information (typically name, work email address and office address and phone number) and professional information (e.g., job title and role) and association with a particular aircraft (e.g., whether an Aircraft-Associated Individual is a broker, service provider or owner/operator). This information may be provided directly by Aircraft-Associated Individuals and/or by personnel within their organization, or it may be initially obtained from other publicly or commercially available sources, such as the Federal Aviation Authority or national equivalent, or a corporate website.
C. How We Use The Personal Information We Obtain and the Bases On Which We Use It
We use personal information we obtain as follows:
1. Personal Information Obtained Through the Site
We use the personal information we obtain through the Site for the following purposes:
• To process your requests and communicate with you: We may use your personal information when we communicate with you. For example, if you request a demo we communicate with you to fulfill your request. It is in our legitimate interests that we are able to provide you with appropriate responses and communicate with you about our Services and other offerings that may be of interest to you.
• To maintain and improve the Site: We analyze information about how you and others use the Site to provide an improved experience for visitors to the Site. It is in our legitimate business interests to use the information we obtain for this purpose so we can develop relevant offerings and understand and address any issues with the Site.
2. Personal Information of Subscribers
We use the personal information of Subscribers for the following purposes:
• To identify and authenticate Subscribers: We use Subscribers’ account information to verify their identity and confirm access to the Services. This is so we can comply with our contractual obligations and to protect the Services and Subscribers’ personal information.
• To fulfill Subscribers’ requests and provide the Services: We process Subscribers’ personal information to provide the Services requested by the relevant client. This is so we can provide the Services according to our contract with each client.
• To improve the Services: We analyze information about how Subscribers use the Services to understand usage and provide an improved experience for Subscribers. This includes product testing and site analytics. It is in our legitimate business interests to use the information provided to us for this purpose so we can understand and address any issues with the Services and improve our offerings.
• To communicate with Subscribers: We use Subscribers’ personal information to communicate about their subscription or account. For example, if we are providing information about changes to the terms and conditions or if a Subscriber contacts us with questions. It is in our legitimate interests that we are able to provide Subscribers with appropriate responses and notices about our Services.
• Marketing: We may use Subscribers’ personal information to send promotional or marketing communications about AMSTAT, our Services and other offerings. We may also develop marketing segments. This helps us understand Subscribers’ interests and preferences and allows us to appropriately personalize the marketing messages we send. For example, we may develop an update for helicopter brokers about helicopters available for sale. It is in our legitimate interest to provide more relevant and interesting advertising messages.
3.Personal Information of Aircraft-Associated Individuals
We use the personal information of Aircraft-Associated Individuals to populate the Services as necessary and appropriate to provide information requested by Subscribers and for the operation of the Services. This allows us to maintain accurate information about corporate and other aircraft owners and operators and to connect them with potential aircraft purchasers, service providers and brokers. We do so as necessary to meet our legitimate interest in providing Subscribers with relevant information regarding the business aircraft market and to meet our Subscribers’ legitimate interests.
4. Additional Uses for Personal Information
In addition to the purposes listed in the above paragraphs, we use personal information we obtain about Site visitors, Subscribers and Aircraft-Associated Individuals for the following purposes:
• To protect our rights and the rights of others: We may use personal information we obtain to exercise our legal rights where it is necessary to do so, for example to detect, prevent and respond to fraud claims, intellectual property infringement claims or violations of law or our Terms of Use.
• To comply with our obligations: We may process your personal information we obtain to comply with or enforce applicable industry and legal requirements (including legal process such as court orders, warrants or subpoenas and other requests from public and government authorities in the U.S. or other jurisdictions) and fulfilling our contractual obligations.
We may also anonymize personal information in such a way that an individual may not reasonably be re-identified by us or any other company, and may use this anonymized information for any other purpose.
D. How We Share Personal Information
We share personal information of Site visitors, Subscribers and Aircraft-Associated Individuals with:
• Our affiliates: AMSTAT is a subsidiary of CAMP Systems International Inc. We work closely with other businesses, companies and divisions within the CAMP Systems family, including Aircraft Shopper Online. We may share certain personal information, such as contact information, business information, or transaction information with our affiliates to ensure consistency and accuracy of that personal information, or for marketing purposes, security, optimization of products and services, and internal business purposes (including reporting, auditing and compliance).
• Service providers and business partners: We share personal information we obtain with our service providers and business partners that perform services and business operations for us for the purposes set forth above. For example, we may partner with companies to process secure payments; optimize services; send newsletters, marketing messages and support communications; and conduct analytics.
• Where required by law: We may share personal information we obtain with law enforcement agencies, courts, other government authorities or other third parties where we believe necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, or otherwise to protect our rights or the rights of any third party.
• In the context of a corporate transaction: We reserve the right to transfer any of the personal information we have about you to proceed with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a sale or transfer of all or a portion of our business or assets to a third party, such as in the event of a merger, acquisition or other disposition, or in connection with a bankruptcy reorganization, dissolution, or liquidation. Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to obligate the entity to which we transfer your personal information to use it in a manner that is consistent with this Notice.
• With your consent or otherwise at your direction: We may share your personal information where you consent to or otherwise direct such sharing.
In addition, we share personal information of Aircraft-Associated Individuals with Subscribers. The Services are designed to provide Subscribers with information regarding the business aircraft market, including contact information for Aircraft-Associated Individuals. This is how we connect aircraft brokers, service providers and other aircraft professionals with aircraft owners and other potential customers. We share this information as necessary to meet our legitimate interest in operating our business and for our Subscribers’ legitimate interests.
E. Your Rights Over Your Personal Information
Analytics Opt-Outs
The Site uses analytics to help improve both the user experience and functionality, including third-party analytics provided by Google Analytics. To opt-out of Google Analytics on your device or browser, please visit

Do Not Track
AMSTAT does not currently take steps to respond to browsers “Do Not Track” signals as no uniform standard to respond to such signals has been developed at this time.

Your California Privacy Rights
Residents of California who use the Site or Services primarily for personal, family or household purposes and provided us with their personal information may request a list of third parties to which certain personal information (as defined by applicable California law) obtained through the Site or Services, as applicable, was disclosed by AMSTAT during the preceding year for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. We retain Subscribers’ personal information for as long as we have a relationship and to preserve historical records regarding aircraft ownership and affiliations. When deciding how long to keep Subscribers’ personal information after our relationship with the relevant client has ended or for historical purposes, we take into account our legal obligations and our legitimate interest in maintaining historical records. We may also retain records to investigate or defend against potential legal claims.
G. International Data Transfer
We store and process personal information in the United States and India, which may not provide the same level of protection for personal information as the laws of your home country.
We implement appropriate safeguards (such as contractual commitments) in accordance with applicable legal requirements to provide adequate protections for your personal information when we transfer it between countries.
