FAQs – Prospective Customers
Who is AMSTAT?

Established in 1982, AMSTAT performs business aircraft market research and provides that researched information to aircraft industry professionals as a subscription service. AMSTAT focuses on the worldwide fleet of corporate, business and private aircraft, including jets, turbo-props, and turbine helicopters. The information compiled by AMSTAT includes aircraft for sale status, aircraft transaction and financing details, comprehensive business aircraft owner/operator contact information (including owners, operators, aircraft management companies, charter certificate holders, and brokers), aircraft specification details, and in-depth coverage of the business aircraft fractional market. AMSTAT is a wholly owned subsidiary of CAMP Systems International.

How does AMSTAT gather its information?

AMSTAT’s primary goal is to provide the most accurate and complete picture possible of the business aircraft market to our subscribers. AMSTAT researchers call the owners and operators of business aircraft worldwide on a recurring schedule to gather and verify information. We contact brokers and dealers on a weekly basis to update information regarding their inventory and aircraft for sale status. We monitor over one hundred sources of registry information and other public sources of aircraft information on a continuous basis. Additionally, we examine all aircraft advertised as for sale on major public marketplaces (aircraft for sale websites, listing magazines, etc.).

Does AMSTAT provide aircraft finance data?

Yes, aircraft finance information is contained in the AMSTAT Premier service.

Does AMSTAT provide lists of business aircraft for sale?

Yes, this information is contained in the AMSTAT Premier service, but AMSTAT is NOT and online listing service where information is often dated, incomplete, and unverified. Instead, AMSTAT provides a comprehensive, researched list of all business aircraft that have been verified as currently available for sale. Please note however, that such aircraft market information cannot be purchased on a standalone or one-off basis.

Does AMSTAT provide fractional jet market information?

Yes, this information is contained in the AMSTAT Premier service. AMSTAT is the leading provider of fractional jet (and turbo-prop) market data.

Does AMSTAT provide aircraft transaction data?

Yes, this information is contained in the AMSTAT Premier service. AMSTAT provides the individual transaction history data for each aircraft. This data can be amalgamated into detailed transaction reports for each aircraft market enabling clients to assess trends in business aircraft demand.

Does AMSTAT provide aircraft management market data?

Yes, this information is contained in the AMSTAT Premier service. For each aircraft, AMSTAT provides details on the aircraft management company that is operating the aircraft and on the aircraft charter certificate holder.

Does AMSTAT provide aircraft valuation data or appraisal services?

No, but aircraft appraisers will use the aircraft market research services offered by AMSTAT to establish current listing and recent transaction “comparables”. Those aircraft appraisers who use AMSTAT have indicated their responsibility to you by keeping themselves apprised of current aircraft market conditions.

Can I access business aircraft market data from my smartphone?
